Little Stars Kindergarten provides an educational setting and welcoming social environment for young children with special needs. The Kindergarten is designed to foster greater independence and self-sufficiency to improve the quality of life for both pupils and families.
Each child who attends has an Individual Education Plan tailored to meet their specific needs. This plan will be developed in conjunction with the child's primary carers.
Though our service is focused and unique to each child, the preschool atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming for young children and their families, and our daily routine allows for flexibility and spontaneity.
From messy play, arts and crafts, group play and table top work our activities are child-centred and provided by our highly experienced and qualified staff.
Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of school teachers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and early years professionals. Staff are trained in ABA,Floor Time, Sensory Integration, Lamh, PECS and more.
All staff are Garda Vetted and members of the Teaching Council of Ireland. The service is fully insured and has passed all HSE inspections.
Places are very limited as we have a child-tutor ratio of 2-1 at all times.
Some places in our school are free of charge, as some children qualify under the Home Tuition Scheme due to a diagnosis of Autism.
