Aurore Child Development Centre was first established in 2008 and was known as Little Stars and provided occupational therapy for children.
Little Stars came about due to the noticeable lack of early intervention services for children with special needs in Wexford and the South East.
What started as a one woman enterprise quickly grew and evolved into a developmental centre for children.
We are a service dedicated to providing high quality therapeutic, educational and recreational opportunities for children with special needs.
With our multidisciplinary approach, we strive to ensure that the individual needs of each child are met. This is achieved through the development of child specific programmes which are created with clear goals in mind and in conjunction with parents/carers and other key professionals.
Mareike Bartel, Clinical Director at Aurore, has over 10 years experience in the area of paediatric occupational therapy. She has completed a wide variety of post graduate training in areas such as Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening and Neurodevelopmental Therapy.
